Spoke with the recruiter. Did a phone screen consisting of a general architecture problem. After passing that, did a four separate standard software coding problems covering the typical topics. The engineers were good interviewers, and they were very open to talk about the teams, products, etc.
What is the biggest technical challenge you and your team have accomplished? How do you contribute to design discussions and code reviews? Can you give an example of a design discussion where you influenced the technical direction? What’s your process for architecture reviews or tradeoff decisions (e.g. REST vs GraphQL)? Have you ever encountered a performance or scalability issue? How did you diagnose, quantify, and address it? What was the impact and plan going forward?
