They had Job opening for Mainframe + C++ , but the team was looking for Java and Javascript screwed my entire 3 months of Interview process . Core Java , Collections , COBOL ,DB2 ,CICCS, VSAM . The team is not aware of what they want to hire for and they waste time of candidates neither the HR was co-operative .

The position was not for graphics development and neither is my background, but an interviewer insisted on probing on such algorithms and linear algebra, about which I know about only cursorily and recall only vaguely.

first HR person just normal questions. then a SW manager lunch&talk.then a SW engineer asked some general questions about embedded system. they all asked questions about memory debugging. the a senior SW engineer asked C++ questions related to virtual destructor. and a question about loop in the linked list. the last one is the manager asked about the oriority inversion and its fixes.
