The question I will posit here is not so much a question as an unexpected clarification. My to-be peers wanted to ensure that I was aware of what I was getting myself into, and that I held no illusions of the company. The clarification lay in the concept of environmental consulting (my future position): no one pays for sustainability consulting because they have a good heart and want to become more sustainable. They do so because they have to, and/or because they want a 'green' image. I would be working for many of the biggest polluters in the world, and while I would no doubt be holding them accountable to environmental regulations I would also be advocating for the interests of said companies.
Not many questions to be frank !!! They asked about third-year summer training project which was mostly related to chemical engineering so the interviewer became disinterested. Interview ended abruptly.
