It was a take home test with a lot of different components. They give you 24 hours to do, and say it should only take a few hours - it absolutely will not unless you are some god tier coffeed out savant, in my humble opinion. It wasn't hard per se, but the layers and type of question definitely calls for you to stand out as a candidate .
The code and design part is flawed: you have 1 hour for each of them but there are questions/presentation at the beginning so you have less than that. You could admit your system design has some parts that need to be given more thought, but it doesn't matter it has to be good.
