Questions related to OOPs concepts, SOLID principles, Design patterns. Detailed questions regarding API creation, implementation, API security etc. Questions related to code review, coding standards, code go live cycle. Day to day activities, team management style, conflict resolution in the team and mentorship style.
Questions related to kubernetes like what is ConfigMaps and how is it different from Secrets, are secrets encrypted?. Then some questions related to docker like how to create production build. Some questions related to Node.js were like which framework used in last project and why, why nodejs is single threaded, what is event loop.
I selected the frontend-focused loop, which had two parts: — 1 hour values interview with a variety of behavioral questions. — 3 hour combined technical interview, where I was given a feature spec and visual mockup, and had to implement as much as possible. Three interviewers cycled through to 'keep me company' (i.e., observe me and answer questions), and at the end, all three spent 30 minutes receiving a code tour and asking questions.
