The in-person interviews were all about Amazon's Leadership principles. They wanted evidence of how I have lived those in my career.
I am paraphrasing here but it was along the lines of "Give me a time where you took action without your manager's input or knowledge, and what was the result of said action?"
The questions are always abour situations you might experience in your previous jobs. Like "tell me about a time when you missed a deadline, why, what you did ? and how you can prevent this to happend again
When is a time you failed?
You can google every question they are going to ask you. So if you really want the job I would plan on spending 5 hours writing stories to help prepare. There are about 3 different questions per leadership principle.
Describe a time you demonstrated customer obsession
Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation with a customer.
Describe a situation where you had to do a decision based on a calculated risk and how did you minimise the risk?
