All the questions were pretty standard PM questions ranging from design to interpersonal skills
Nothing was very difficult. I had to explain a software enhancement from inception to delivery and all the processes in between.
I was asked some pointless in-depth technical questions about diagnosing database query performance issues which I could answer but are completely irrelevant to the role of a project manager, which is what I thought this role was.
I won't disclose the specifics because I signed NDA. But be prepared for questions that are critical to your role - things such as working under competing priorities, team challenges, high level distributed systems architecture etc.,
Interview questions will mostly go about your project management skills and experience so you have to have a good grasp of the best practices you can apply during difficult project situations. You also need to have a basic understanding of the game development process (to simply understand the gaps between your current and the potential work at Ubisoft) and how your current skillset will come into play. In order to best prepare for the interview, ask as much questions as you can when HR discuss the job description with you as the questions will revolve around the expectations for the job.
This was the first of what would be several interviews. Mostly a meet and greet. Otherwise interview was on company culture and values.
Questions on Project management and resourcing. Only question relating to PM was on stakeholder management.
