Pros

A startup atmosphere - Mostly, laid back - a lot of good thinkers who want to take it to a better place. If you are a fresher or within 5 years of experience, a great place to learn, initiate ideas, make friends and have fun. If you are joining as a c-level, you are set - you will always be protected by the system. People with > 5 yrs of experience and < c-level easily be demotivated by the unprepared meetings, shallow discussions under the guise of being iterative and agile -

Cons

Long term employees in middle-senior management are very protective of each other - questionable integrity and lack of transparency - Passive coercion very much in play - Ineffective managers who know to only function as individual contributors - they are blind to the generosity and thoughtfulness that needs to accompany leadership positions
