      Pros

      i would say that the overall compensation package is reasonable.

      Cons

      The CEO and managament have been unsuccessful in maintaining their top employees in part because of the difficulty in managing such a large company that consists of diverse legacy companys and that has distinct regional practices. "employees are our most valuable resource" is a false mantra and falls on deaf ears because the employees dont see it practiced at any level within the company, on the contrary the company has ignored its best and brightest and ignored the storied history of its legacy firms. The company vision (if there is one) is a short term fiscallly dirven one and is not sustainable.

      Pros

      Global company with opportunities all over the world. Lots of professional development available. Good people, good technical expertise. Good flexibility with hours and vacation.

      Cons

      Still suffering from multiple mergers, structure is constantly changing. Upper management continue to make poor decisions. No focus on staff. People are not the priority. Horrible internal communication. It seems everything is kept secret.

      Pros

      Great people, had a great manager, give more responsibility than I could handle (in a good way) and worked on many interesting projects with varying responsibility. Sad to leave.

      Cons

      Managers not allowed to manage. Lots of restructuring resulting in job loss even when our office was short staffed. Continue losing staff due to lower wages than local competitors, unfortunate AECOM is very slow to respond to this.
