As part of HR I see the constant reduction in force, benefits, etc. It is disheartening to say the least. The company has no loyalties to current employees, preferring to bring in outside employees and their friends. There is a severe lack of upward mobility in a company that is on the downturn. The bottom line is of course the driving factor but to have internal people let go while at the same time hiring in from outside is compounding that problem. The churn at the corporate level of qualified employees does not help the feeling of lack of job security.

Unless you are the management, there is no flexibility in the hours you work. You are expected to set up work email on your personal phone and use it in your day to day operation because the office phone simply don't work. Manager is incompetitant, only thing he does well is politics and it's toxic. A typical clown character from the office. I was told I was hired to improve things but was asked to shut up when I questioned the way things operate. A very archaic mind-set taken straight out of the TV show 'the office'. The manager has told some very crude jokes, borderline racist. Totally unexpected from a global company. Unless you are white, middle class, male; do not work for this company.
