Cons
You are literally a number, especially with the buy-out of URS, which puts the company at 90,000 employees. My supervisor was awesome, but she had no control over whether I was laid off or got my hours reduced. You get a constant stream of emails about new VPs who were hired who have nothing to do with you and who you will never meet. Every little IT, HR, accounting, or project-related action requires a ream of paperwork and signatures that totally eats up your time, and of course you can't charge anything to overhead. The company only looks at your billable hours when making personnel decisions, with no input from local leadership or supervisors.
