Hated lifting all the heavy stuff to stock Management treats you like pack mule and expects you to stock 9 pallets in three hours which includes juices and cans. As well as stock freezer and cooler. Everything is always done fast. Wants you to be fast and accurate which in book can't exist. If you want fast be willing to compromise some accuracy and vice versa -expects you to stay at work three to four hours after closing to clean up Not enough employees High turnover rate

Pros

Reasonable pay compared to other supermarkets. Monthly bonuses available if you hit your productivity target which can vary depending on how your store did.

Cons

Very poor structure to your working day. Due to the way the company runs its productivity, you are constantly firefighting all day to get the job done. Also the amount of special buys continually coming in to the warehouse and blocking it up makes the day to day job very difficult. At Christmas fresh food deliveries were put on the shop floor for customers to try and get by pallets of stock. Chilled products were not put into the chiller as there is not enough room. No breaks really you just eat when you can and crack on! When it is busy all the staff are on the tills leaving the shop floor to look like a pigsty and then you are forever playing catchup! You all have to chase shoplifters out of the shop and do whatever it takes to get them back in the shop. Come in for meetings on you day off!

They trap you with cash and credit card and car, small amount of training and terrible leadership. Lidl will destroy ALDI and they see it coming .

Cons

Very inconsistent upper management , lie cheat, and steal, that's the ALDI motto. Most management treats their managers like slaves.
