      Work like a Slave. Get micro managed to death. Get told how bad the store always looked. Never get praised for good work

      Pros

      At Aldi the pay is very good and the benefits are very good. They are closed on all the major Holidays. You feel good for the accomplishments you acheive in maintaining the store as a Store Manager. You will have Pride in yourself for the constant hard work.

      Cons

      You work like a Slave for the money you make. You rarely hear any good feedback from the DM's or Directors. They are constantly down your back telling you that your work is not good enough. Constant turnover at the DM position creates a very unconfortable work environment for you and your employees. DM's are hired right out of college with no experience and micro manage the Store Manager with 20 years of experience.

      closed on major holidays unlike other retailers. medical, dental, vision benefits are low cost

      Cons

      This company will work the crap out of you and will expect more, little praise or appreciation. no advancement for store managers, everything is timed, Your scheduled until 10 and are expected to return to work the next morning at 5am. Moral is down and everyone that I have encounter hates their job. High turn over, hiring events every week
