      Pros

      Interesting products, trains, like a little kid waking up on Xmas morning. International, working with Mgt. From France and sometimes other countries

      Cons

      Sometimes too tight lipped. Not a lot of sharing of info amongst the worker bees. Could have more feedback of upcoming projects.

      1. Better work and personal life balance. 2. 401 K is good

      Cons

      1. No chances of improving skills or learning. 2. No proper training 3. Not well structured 4. Pay is less compared to competitors 5. Not a desirable work environment. Initially for a person starting their career, I would not advise to start at ALSTOM.

      Pros

      Best location for energy business. Switzerland. Relaxed working environment. Good salary, even though it is regarded low, compared to other swiss companies.

      Cons

      Not real research and development. Only some development of products. Chaotic organisation which did not allow for fast decisions. Lacking standardised work instructions in many cases, made the completion of task, long and expensive.
