      Dysfunctional and abusive!

      Pros

      This company has a varied history which opens itself up to constant situational learning.

      Cons

      Decisions are made in France and Switzerland, which are places far removed from the actions of profit and loss. The decision makers do not seem to be concerned with the resultant consequences. Pay has no relationship to performance and is low anyway. Politics inside the company have nearly destroyed moral and fostered flight to competitors. There are few if any interlocking processes. Some of the politically strong ignore the processes in place with impunity.

      Some technically adept people and some also had 1st rate attitudes in dealing with customers

      Cons

      Several local senior managers wanted to manage all the functions including sales yet thought the best way to manage customer issues were to hide them. Some people promoted despite poor performance

      Plenty of opportunities to work on exciting projects with its global presence. Transparency for the most part on company major decisions.

      Cons

      Slow raise in salary and little bonuses. Susceptible to market. Poor management from top. Lack of innovation.
