Decent salaries. Good benefits. The environment varies a lot depending on the specific location but if you´re lucky and get to a good one it can be nice.

Cons

Lots of experienced people have left or let go in the last years so, there has been a major loss of expertise on several fields. On the good side the knowledge base is being rebuilt by new people.
