- The company has a good direction following a major acquisition of Bombardier Transportation - The ability to leverage the strengths of the former Bombardier Transportation and Alstom and influence key decisions is still available for many employees to participate in - There will continue to be new successes to celebrate and new opportunities for those who seek them

- As the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation was still relatively recent, there is a lot of work to be done to harmonize and plan the path for a bright future - There are plentiful opportunities yet to be actualized, the question remains what will be captured and actioned and what will be seen as less critical/time sensitive. What opportunity costs might be given up as a result of those decisions? This uncertainty can create unease and fear for employees who have differing expectations about the results of the acquisition
