      Lack of any innovation, work is interrupted by constant re-organizations, poor management, no road plan.

      Good work to life balance. Not a lot of stress.

      Cons

      Working without much supervision. Poor organisation, management and hierarchy. Process overkill for software development. Constant re-organizations, needless shifting of resources. People are hired without a proper evaluations of their skill, therefore incompetence is prevalent. People are assigned to tasks they cannot properly perform, because of lack of tech skills. People are treated like interchangeable pawns. Very high leaving rate. Too many external consultants (greater then 50%)

      Pros

      Big company, very secure career. Many internal and external trainining opertunity. Pays are OK. Located at midland area, convienience transport.

      May be paid lower than the job markert. May be to concentrate to the project management rather than the technical.

      Pros

      There are a lot of bright, dedicated, and hard working people who are very committed to their customers. The local management recognized and rewarded top performers. The local management seemed very supportive of internal moves to provide people with challenging growth opportunities. In general, the local management was very supportive of achieving a good work/life balance (see downsides).

      Cons

      Long-term vision, planning, process improvement were always talked about, seldom, if ever, executed. This seemed primarily due to a lack of adequate resources and support from upper management -- and an abundance of work. While the local management was very supportive of allowing people to pursue a healthy work/life balance, the amount of work needing to get done, combined with the number of people doing it (and their experience levels), made it virtually impossible for most people to achieve.
