Pros

Good benefits. Free coffee and water.

Cons

If a manager does. It like you, having nothing to do with your work quality or work ethics, they are allowed to put you on a PIP and then force a failure by intentionally going out of their way to make you not meet your goals. The ethics of such a practice are beyond reason and HR is for the company, not for the employee.

Lack of prototyping required for complex projects. Projects underfunded by design with company under investigation, unable to transition to new technology. Not a team oriented company.

Pros

Handsome renumeration, work-life balance, nice office, susidised canteen

Cons

No opportunity. One has to snatch it from others. Only those can survive who has the ability to keep their bosses happy (be it anyway)...
