Pros

Good infrastructure, good for an entry job so you know what shouldn’t be in a good organization

Cons

Sick culture. Layoff like crazy. Bad progression, it is a good company to work for one year after school then find better job

Pros

Engineering positions supporting the cellular network generally offer the opportunity to do meaningful technical work, especially as it relates to keeping the network configured properly.

Cons

AT&T is a very large company with a lot of bureaucracy. This can make it difficult to interact with other people from different groups and sometimes seems counterproductive. I'm sure this isn't unique to AT&T.
