Pros

You can make hella money if you sell, sell, sell Lots lf overtime (pro and con) Excellent health insurance - includes health, vision and dental if you choose You can move up fast ... if you sell a lot and management likes you Company phone and discount on personal AT&T service Promotions for free stuff - phones, bluetooth headsets, etc.

Cons

Long days, standing all day, you have to sell people things they don't want and/or need Work/life balance not so good Insane metrics for sales that are difficult to reach especially with the crazy expensive rate plans

Pros

* Work/life balance and WFH each week * Good (not great) perks and discounts on AT&T services and accessories * Great coworkers. Fun people in the San Francisco and Palo Alto tech offices

Cons

* Work is as slow as molasses. Things that would normally take a week may take years * Most leadership has been there fore 20-30 years without any intent to modernize procedures * Very political. This is NOT a meritocracy. * Donation matching is very sneaky. AT&T takes donations from your check and donates it for you. They take the tax benefit. * Benefits are below par and expensive * Severely understaffed. Staffing is incredibly difficult and slow. Phone screen -> offer -> hire can take 2-3 months * California officers are treated as inferior to Plano headquarters

Pros

At&t is a great place to work. Very engaged. Good bennifits. Very open with higher lever management

Cons

The pay difference between sales consultants and management seems incorrect. Alot of reps make more money than management
