Pros

Good middle Management; Hardworking people who do anything to get the job done. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of the business.

Cons

Senior management, too many executive layers each with an agenda not necessarily on the same page. The RVPs are in charge of regions they are forced to compete with each other, but at the expense of the customer and service. Their bonuses are tied to regional incentives. Thus, there is no desire to assist another region or RVP. Its a dog eat dog world. I.E. AVP>RVP>VP

Pros

There is a lot of good opportunity to learn and apply new technology. The role I am in is somewhat flexible. I can work from home on occasion. In this economy the ability to have a stable empoyer / job is nice. The health bennifits are good, costs are always going up though. There are a lot of good people to work with on a dialy basis. There are no travel requirments in my current position.

Cons

It takes forever to get a parking pass. We should be able to work from home more often, not just occasionally. If you start in with a low salary it is difficult to get it adjusted up. Yearly salary adjustments have been weak in recent years. They seem to be cutting back on many things, education, stock options, etc ...
