Pros

If you are a Management Employee you get your home phone, cellular, and TV at much discounted rates. Sales people get company cars if they average more than 1,300 miles per month. Tuition reimbursement is up to $5000.00 per year but you must get approval from upper management. Being a Nation wide company you have the opportunity to get advancement quicker if you are willing to move. If you enjoy technology and like to learn something new every day or be challenge to learn more this is a good position.

Cons

To get promoted it’s who you know not what you know. Many Managers and Senior Managers are so out of touch with there customers or afraid to talk to customers personally that causes them to guide their employees in the wrong direction.

Pros

This is a large company with lots of different types of jobs and opportunities to do many things. There are many different divisions and many types of jobs. I really like most of the people that I work with and most people I work with are team players.

Cons

If you are really ambitious this is not the place for you unless you are well positioned. The old saying "It is not what you know but who you know" really applies here. Perhaps the most difficult part of working at AT&T is that there are frequent lay-off which is very discouraging.

Pros

The name recognition is pretty good. Lots of Paid Time Off, if you can take it.

Cons

Commission payout is impossible to track, let alone actually get paid. Salary increases were frozen this year. Health insurance benefits are pitiful. The company is demanding far too much for far too little compensation. Costs are being cut everywhere and it is impossible to get even basic supplies. The time it takes to get approvals is incredible. The buildings are very old and dirty...yuck!
