Pay is good, upper management is not

Pros

Pay Benefits can be good depending on what the union settles on. Coworkers and team leads are great for the most part.

Cons

Attendance policy is always being changed. Policies are always being changed. Metrics are always being changed. Union points finger at AT&T and AT&T points back and little is done. Almost every change is for the worst.

Pros

The job decent (23 or 24 an hour) especially if you like working outdoors and under your own supervision. Also a good fit for people who don't like working in an office or who like to drive. You get plenty of experience with working face to face with customers. Decent vacation packages after working there for about 2 yrs.

Cons

U-Verse is a job not a career. There is little to no advancement after a few years and its virtually impossible if you want to try working in another department. Most likely your supervisor will know less than you and be more interested in their own advancement than performing their duties. FMLA is rarely approved if you or family member get sick. Lots of forced overtime.
