Pros

Benefits as many have stated, however even those are declining now as to how much At&t contributes to its Medical and Dental plans.. Coming from someone who used to work for Bellsouth, The benefits at that time were 100% covered.. Now your for sure coming more and more out of pocket. I will say prior to the layoff rollercoaster and SBC/ATT Management , - Legacy Att,. Bellsouth, and the other Bell companies treated you like family . I truly miss those days and I appreciated how we operated as a family and even back then when they laid you off, they usually found you another position.

Cons

Layoffs, Layoffs, called surplusing no matter how its worded everyone knows what it is ! and even worse now the RTO(Return to office mandates which are being masked as layoffs with no severance ( I believe At&t actually founded this terminology (surplus) which has become staple in the industry) It's not a secret that while other companies layoff , we are now leading the way and doing it on yearly if not quarterly basis.. and not for performance reason but simply due to mismanagement at the executive levels. ( Time warner and directv deals amongst other huge blunders that effects the employees when the bottom line dose'nt add up for their stakeholders.
