Pros

Union protection, good benefits, options to work remotely

Cons

Management has shifted the company's focus in the last 6-12 months to aggressive sales. Loyalty representatives who should be focus on keeping the customer are told if you don't offer to add a line on every call not resulting in a cancellation you aren't doing your job. Support is sometimes non-existant. It might take 45 minutes to an hour to get a supervisor to respond to a question. There is little to no thought to giving the customer options when faced with a negative situation as agents are told in many cases "we can't do that" or "don't spend too much time dealing with issues so you'll have more opportunities to sell.

Pros

Some good bosses, as well as opportunities for development.

Cons

Some bosses are too overbearing when it comes to hitting goals. It's a stressful job and you can get fired for not offering products 100% of the time, even if it might not make sense to.
