Pros

hybrid working genuine support and care from some of the department management

Cons

Like many businesses, progression is based on how often you make small talk and clique with management. Progression can be limited if you're not that sort of person. Service standards and IT have really gone downhill since I joined several years ago. The business entity I work for introduced a new system which was meant to make things easier and simpler for hybrid working but the reality is that the systems fail daily. Call volumes have been horrendous for well over a year and have improved little. This is making things difficult for front line staff as customers are rightly annoyed. It is a resource problem and while they have recruited en-mass, a lot are not staying as the starting wage is around 19k for a claims advisor and in today's climate, is not far off poverty, frankly. There is also a lot of pressure put on new starters so I am not surprised they want to leave so soon.
