Pros

The executive team have the right intent and roll out initiatives with the aim of support

Cons

Locally people are worked to mental breakdown, no support is available, resources are scarce, seniors do not help, seniors get praise from few large cases so they can valiantly save the day, if you work at AXA there are still only a minute amount of people willing to help, it’s likely if you are not extremely experienced you will drown under pressure. There was a big problem with work related stress yet it was never addressed. The systems only get more and more complex, technology is horrendous, it felt like daily torture to survive at AXA. Survey scores reflect this view.

Pros

cheaper insurance and get to achieve a qualification in insurance. Free lunch Free car park

Cons

Micromanagement, HR don’t care about their employees but just the business needs. Team leaders don’t actually do enough work to reduce the amount of claim files, and expect unrealistic targets to be met whilst dealing with the customer calls.

Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m glad to hear you were able to enjoy some of the benefits AXA provides, we’re dedicated to career mobility and work hard to ensure that all our colleagues have the resources to broaden skillsets. So, I’m pleased to hear this was reflected in your experience. We understand that a lot of our roles can be highly pressured, we believe in autonomous empowerment and want every colleague to feel trusted and valued without the feeling of being constantly checked or monitored, so we’re sorry this hasn’t been reflected in your experience. Could you please get in touch with haveyoursay.uk@axa-uk.co.uk so we can make AXA a better place to work. AXA People Team
