Great people, great place to work
Pros
- The people are great. Our recruiters are good at finding good fits for the team and company - Nice benefits - Lots of merch! - Flexible hours - Remote/hybrid accommodation - Performing well pays off - Casual atmosphere. Can walk right up to our CEO for a chat if I'm bored (even if they probably have better things to do) - They are often trying new things instead of sticking with the 'good old', despite being a ginormous company. - International company structure allows you to meet and talk to people all over the world - Lots of initiatives for inclusivity, like pairing up with a foreign language buddy and exchanging languages. Also respect the amount of effort put into pride and other social statements. - Lots of learning opportunities, such as courses, workshops and certifications. - Good partnerships with many big companies around the world
Cons
- Very rigid corporate structure and management. - Seems to take long to climb the corporate ladder. Many senior managers have worked here for 15+ years. - Layoffs happen here and there - you don't know for sure if you'll have a job in 3-6 months. - Working overtime can be part of the job sometimes. - All the small things require approvals. This is good to avoid mess-ups, but annoying when your job requires all the small things. - While they often try new things, sometimes they mess up and things backfire and create more work for us.
