Serious concerns around culture, integrity, and employee wellbeing
Pros
Strong brand recognition, exposure to large clients, and opportunities to build experience in complex projects.
Cons
In my experience at Accenture, I encountered situations that I perceived as both workplace harassment and inappropriate conduct that made me feel uncomfortable. I raised these concerns through formal internal channels, including Speak Up, and escalated them to senior leadership. Unfortunately, I did not observe meaningful action or follow-up. The response from leadership and HR felt dismissive, and at times it seemed unlikely that any concrete measures would be taken. This created a sense of lack of protection and trust in the system. After expressing my discomfort, I experienced a work environment that did not feel supportive of my continuity, which ultimately led to my departure. From a business perspective, I also observed a lack of rigor in some projects, where expectations sold to clients did not always align with what was realistically achievable or financially sustainable. This sometimes created pressure on teams to deliver under misaligned conditions. Additionally, there were instances where employee wellbeing did not appear to be a priority, with high workloads and uneven distribution of responsibilities. I also experienced challenges related to resistance to new ways of working in certain teams, which affected collaboration and adaptability.
