Pros

Accenture is a phenomenal place to launch a career. They understand how to work with early twentysomethings and help grow them into professionals. Hours can be bad at times, but the worst weeks only come at the end of the project lifecycle. If you are capable of driving your own career, being on the look out for opportunities within the firm and taking a really proactive approach as an analyst, you'll move up fast.

Cons

Performance rankings do not impact salaries enough. Just anecdotally, most women in our "start group" made significantly less then men in the beginning-- because the women didn't negotiate. Because all raises are then on a proportional basis, it can be hard to catch up even if you outperform your peers that started higher. Accenture should address this by rethinking their zoning structure.

Pros

good projects. lot of people from different domains to work with. culture of the company is good for technical people and for sales people.

Cons

no work-life balance. Sales guys are not educated enough to hunt right projects. Dead-lines are always impossiblem and situation doesnot seem like it's going to get better here,.

Pros

- Many opportunities to learn - if you'd like to specialize in a technology or industry, Accenture is a good place to do it - Challenging projects - Team members are generally supportive (although I have had some managers that treated the team poorly) - Clear career progression

Cons

- Depending on the project that you are on, you might have to travel extensively (even though I was based out of the Los Angeles office, I never worked on a local project) - Long hours - Some bureaucracy - Pay / benefits is ok compared to competitors - The company is huge, so you have to make sure to find your niche so you don't get lost
