Pros

- Good place to get lots of experience - Good if you get a good first project - good benefits

Cons

- substandard pay for all the sacrifice and work you put in - sucking up is the only way to get ahead...get ready for some huge egos! - get ready for cute young college girls to be hired in straight out of school with zero experience and get promoted past you due to their "outstanding capabilities"

Pros

Having the ability to work from home is what makes my job worth what it is. Work from home is supported from both a technical and management perspective. You're given the tools to be successful.

Cons

Compensation leaves a lot to be desired. Management is not exactly supportive of work life balance, that would lead to drops in productivity. Age does not play in your favor, it's an albatross.

Pros

If you like to travel, this is the place for you. Points, perks, frequent flyer miles, nice dinners, a certain amount of prestige. Getting thrown into something you know nothing about and being forced to learn on the fly (stretch roles). Good industry contacts, good alumni network, good exposure to industry.

Cons

You are expected to give give give. There is no 'official' tuition reimbursement program. Accenture doesnt seem to care much about education other than the lame to average learning offerings. It is very very difficult to get people to think/act/contribute outside their silos. Pay is below average for the level of expected performance. If you get stuck in certain areas or with certain groups, your opportunities to learn and grow will be hobbled compared to those who got MCIM.
