Pros

Young and innovative staff. Excellent personal work environment amongst teams - there are really some great people here! You will learn a lot and gain invaluable experience here - Accenture is the boot camp for consultants which will serve you well and look impressive on a c.v. when you leave: and most likely you will leave for better pay, projects that link with your competencies, and a better life-work balance.

Cons

Abysmal life-work balance. Accrued overtime never gets compensated - either in pay or time off with pay. Byzantine metrics for performance evaluations which do not accurately reflect each individual's performance on a specific team or assignment. Executives often are out of touch or proactively indifferent to concerns of managers and consultants.

Pros

people are great and fun to be around.

Cons

working overtime. sucks when your friends working corporate jobs are getting out of work at 5-530 PM and relaxing the rest of the evening and you feel guilty for leaving work at 630PM.

Pros

The company has a big reputation in the market, so the experience that you get to add in your resume is valuable. Also this is a huge organization, so if you are lucky you get good projects. Managers are generally professional and the atmosphere in the organization is also very professional.. however there are exceptions specially in India. If you wish to join Accenture then you should come in with a mind frame of being here for long term as you start getting more visibility only after you have completed at least one and half years, so you have to be patient.

Cons

There are too many teams for doing the same job.. maybe it adds redundancy to the organization, however you start feeling that you do not have any work to do.. and lot of days you might be just sitting idle. In this market scenario it also triggers the fear that you might lose your job. Also they have been firing the bottom 5% of people from the projects based on so called performance..However the reality is that they have a target number and whether you clear the Performance Improvement Program or not you will be fired. Also not many good opportunities for MBA's who are not from the top ranking B-Schools
