Pros

Immense opportunities for growthk provided there is a business need. The people we work with are all over the world so there is great comradship.

Cons

Huge differences in expectations between workforces, some opportunities are not available to you because of the workforce you come from. The compensation is something every Accenture Employee below manager level has complaints about. I was hired in at 29.5K a year in 2006 - for the San Francisco Location.

Pros

It is a company that allows you personal freedom while still providing a place to learn and grow. I have only been here about 8 months and already have won awards and accolades for the job I am doing. It isn't a stict "you have to come to work at 9 and leave at 5" job. You can pick hours that work for you and the management works with you to make sure that you are developing the way you should. If you don't feel challeneged they find more work to challenege you and to push the limit. Growth isn't as easy as one would like but there is occassional opportunities.

Cons

Growth isn't as easy at some other companies. Promotions don't seem to come as easy either, but that could just be my personal experience since I haven't been here that long. That dress code (specifically with shoes) is very strict and I find that confining and rather annoying. There is no travel (associated with my job) and at this time in my life travel is something I would have liked to do. Also, the systems that we work with tend to be slow at times (more often than other companies) and this hinders our work but we are required to stay or to leave and use paid time off.

Pros

1. the travel- if you like seeing the us and being on a plane. You get to travel to different clients and see various parts of the us. When you're out of town Monday-Thursday you pay less for food, less for utilities, les for GAS, etc. 2.flex trips- the most options offered for how you use your weekend and where you spend it., 3.hotel status- being on the road gives you status at nice hotels. Points also give you opportunities to use vacation time and not have to pay for a hotel. 4. Vacation- you will get more vacation walking in the door than anywhere else. 5- the people are great. 6. the company is great

Cons

1. Travel- spend more time in hotel than where you pay rent. very difficult to get adjusted to a city if you move there for the job.
