Pros

Benefits like Tax saver, Cycle to work scheme, Different Health Insurance Options, Pension. Good colleagues.

Cons

Allianz Care will soon become the expert in the art of creating unhappy employees who feel under appreciated . I never worked at a place with as many unsatisfied and frustrated people, which explains the unprecedented turnover rate. Good employees just run out of there now without even finding new jobs due to increasing stress and as we call it, feeling like just a 'NUMBER'. Middle management makes it increasingly difficult to do your job due to office politics and bureaucracies. There is zero understanding from higher management which pushes for micro-management and exploitation of employees as much as possible with little to no return/incentives. Career advancement is not really an option if you speak up your mind and won't knuckle under - your hard work and dedication mean nothing in that regard. Lack of transparency is phenomenal. HR doesn't really tackle the serious issues and will NEVER get your back. Joining the 'Union' seems to be the only way employees can fight for their rights now in an environment that is very dodgy and unfair. While we were discouraged from writing glassdoor reviews during our last Town hall meeting, HR still continues to ignore serious issues raised internally.

Pros

There are always some strange things going on in the company. So you'll always have funny stories to tell your friends and family. All my friends were laughing as I told them that my former manager organized her own goodbye party in the company contributed by the companies budget.

Cons

Foreigners are treated different than Irish people. Some Irish managers only talk with Irish Claims Officers and won't even greet foreigners in the kitchen or on the floor There is not much to learn as you don't do almost anything we were thought during the training. Due to the backlog that seems never to disappear we process claims completely different than initially thought. Basically, we ignore all rules and what's written in the manual and do whatever just to clear the queue. Quality doesn't seem to be important at all. People are all the time on sick leave. Management is gossiping everyone in the company behind their backs.

Pros

Not sure if it´s a Pro but as people may notice most negative reviews are from Claims, Policy Management and Helpline. I guess the situation in other departments is not that bad as it is in ours...

Cons

Recently many people are talking about the salary in the Claims department. We´ve all done some research online about the new 29k salary that Allianz offers and somehow it seems that we never had a fixed starting salary. Some of my colleagues explained that they managed to negotiate a higher salary as they started a few years ago. One of my colleagues even told me that he was hired as a Senior Claims Officer with a 30k salary. And before HR replies and writes that we should not believe all gossip that we are told - the mentioned employee told me face to face about his initial salary and position, so it´s not a gossip. It´s a fact!!! I´m over 3 years in the company. I did my APA but I´m still on the same position. I´m still a Claims Officer. No one even can explain what a person needs to do to get promoted. We are even constantly explained that every Senior is doing different tasks and that no one can clearly explain what it takes to get promoted. Since I´m in the company I´ve seen Claims Officers taking over additional tasks. I´ve seen Senior Claims Officers who are only processing claims without even being trained on additional tasks or special groups. People are coming and leaving Allianz Care and for me it seems the longer people stay the less they are motivated.
