Pros

Health insurance Car insurance Pension On site massages Health and wellbeing talks Monthly fruit drops Flexible hours Lenght of service bonus Exams bonus Monthly bonus Work from home Smart casual dress code Easy reachable targets I have been working here more than three years, i would NOT be still here if the company was as bad as some people make out. Unfortunately some teams have stagnant team members who appear in the same roles a number of years as a result bad mouth the company to new starters. The level of whining is incredible from negative colleagues . No one likes to be around negative people, if you are that unhappy leave you are replaceable with nice positive people see were else will employee you with a bad attitude. There are plently of opportunities to progress within the company but having a bad attitude you will not go far and why would you when there are people who go above and beyond each day for their own job satisfaction . To the last post you stated all trained team leaders left the company , two teamleaders left but were replaced with very experienced teamleaders who are very techincal and well capable for the job i personally find all teamleaders and management very approachable and very fair. All teamleaders go above and beyond to help colleagues, what more would you like from the company . Positive changes happened within the last year as a result of the AES the company do listen to our ideas and do try accommodate the requests . Personally i am very happy in my role . Yes you can be changed to different teams but people forget you are employeed as a claims officer all roles are the same its just different product you process.

Cons

As it is such a large company yes communication can be a small issue but what company is prefect at this .

Pros

I work in the Innovation Team, but many of the pros and cons apply for the wider company. - Lots of challenges: Allianz and insurance industry in general is changing, Allianz Partners is transforming even more. This means many things to do and act on, many opportunities, extremely interesting projects and partner companies, possibility to really make a difference. - Great team: Diverse backgrounds, top skills, young but experienced, good to work with, ambitious and passionate, one of the main reasons to join! - Good company: Working in an international environment with different cultures and nationalities, with all the benefits (and some downsides) of a big but fast growing & transforming company.

Cons

- Maybe too many challenges: Company is not only transforming organization but also IT landscape, harmonizing products globally, starting new innovative initiatives; but at the same time trying to maximize revenues and profits. - This also leads to a quite stretched work-life balance, plus too many processes and "politics" slowing the team down despite everybody working hard to overcome this. - Very complex setup with many dotted and solid lines, many board members; even worse when looking at Allianz in general with many country silos and complex processes & governance. - Small stuff: While workplace setup in general is good (e.g. Bring your own device policy, nice office location etc.) workplace IT sometimes is frustrating (e.g. speed, stability of simple applications such as Office, IE).

Pros

Insurance discount, free parking, multicultural environment, salary increase, flexible Time, week-end off, training, Toil. Transport discounts, Irish bank holiday. Cantine on site

Cons

It is hard to explain in few Words where the issue is coming from as there is so many things that needs to be fixed. First of all learn how to communicate properly. If you want clear ans direct communication well this is not the company for you. As there is no close door you can see management and TL gossiping just in front of you. You can hear TL complaining about the management without even taking in consideration that everybody can hear them. It looks like the dress code is not the same for the management and the agents, you can be convened by your TL if you are wearing denim with holes or if people can see your tattoos but management (lucky them ) can wear whatever they want without any issue apparently. Most of the Time you are being made aware by your colleagues about the change that are going to happen then your TL give you the info that you already have. As the qualified TL have all left the company well the new batch is trying to do the job but clearly they are not fit for the position. No clue how to communicate with their team, they are just in front of their PC answering at their emails. This is not because you’re a good technical agent that you know how to manage people. Management pretend to be open minded but you can clearly read between the lines that you better be nice if you want the chance to move within the company. If you want fairness of treatment well don’t come to Allianz. But if you’re good in politics well welcome in the company. Just know the good people and you will go far. Forget it if you speak too loud and clearly says that things are not going well, you will not go far. If you want to spend a good day, just focus on your work and don’t look around as you will start to notice difference of treatment, favoritism, despotism, lack of professionalism. IT is just a shame - that’s all there is to say about it Rules are different from one department to another. AES is a joke and a waste of time. Don’t ask if you don’t want to know and try to understand what’s asking by us not only changing what you want to change.
