Great culture but employee development and career progression are a joke
Pros
Culture, pay and benefits, lots of perks. This is one of the most employee friendly organizations you will find in the twin cities. Very active in the community and a strong feeling that they actually care. On site fitness center, two on site cafeterias which the company subsidizes the food, lots of games and activities, and a pretty good benefits program. They also recognize employees frequently.
Cons
Politics, lack of ee development and opportunities to advance. It seems that the company touts employee development and how there are so many opportunities within the organization. But at the end of the day, it's not about your skills and expertise that will get you there, it's about who you know and what your managers hidden agenda is. Ultimately, I don't know that this is any different from any other company, which is why I still recommend it as a good place to work. Just hope that you are patient and are ok with getting passed by for promotions in favor of your bosses "favorite" getting the job instead even though you have worked your butt off.
