Pros

Met some great people, couldn't ask for a better work/life balance, low stress. If you care about your job and career, work hard, and are friendly to people you will be successful and enjoy the company. Great for recent grads to get some business experience.

Cons

I felt like I wasn't going anywhere career-wise. Not much room for advancement with this economy/industry. Everyone is at a stand-still and was probably going to sit in the same desk making the same money for another 5 years. Some people in Ops have been doing the same thing for over 20 years. No thank you!

Pros

Strong sense of purpose and togetherness among the lower level employees. The benefits such as 401k match and vacation time are excellent. The work ethic and dedication of employees is second to none There is a chance to face difficult challenges early in your career which can be a great learning experience. There are a wide range of positions and moving around is encouraged so that you can find the path that suits you best.

Cons

Lack of communication from senior leadership on company's direction and affect on employees. Company is outsourcing jobs and the future is not stable. Negative press has hurt sales and emloyee morale.

Pros

Allianz is a great place to work; the benefits they offer are second to none (401k match, stock purchase plan, paid time off), work life balance is great, and they foster a culture of giving back to the community.

Cons

The salary tends to be lower than other companies in the industry (although this is offset by the benefits mentioned above), and because it is a relatively small company there aren't as many opportunities to move around.
