The most important point is that they hire technically incompetent managers. Since there are no architects here, the role of the manager becomes even more important in guiding the project, but sadly the managers here are like people managers who have absolutely no know how of the product and are ready to pounce on you when things go wrong.. They need to learn from their French counterparts where the manager is more like a technical/functional guide to the team. Also there is a lot of attrition due to employee dis-satisfaction. Age old processes are used which are overhead for developers and eat a lot of productivity.

Amadeus is filled with highly unprofessional, arrogant and cheap people. Especially the managers are really cranky. You need not have to work at all if you know how to please your boss. If you fail to impress your bosses be ready to face consequences. Worst work culture. No good technology to work on. Their age old technology and tools are no good for your growth in terms of knowledge. Hikes are okay but again percentage depends on who is very close to the manager. For me Overall experience was really bad. 90% of the managers are really bad as I explained earlier. If you are in any trouble and have any concerns regarding your manager or team do not expect HR to help you. They will also be biased towards your manager and management. If you know to talk well and even if you know nothing technically, you can survive in this company (Half the people are surviving on the basis of talking skills and boot polishing skills). I have seen cheapest politics in this company, I have never seen such bad politics in my whole career of 5 plus years. Please stay away from Amadeus if you want to save your career and be at peace.!!! I worked with Amadeus Bangalore. I have heard that the culture is very good in other locations like France and london etc.
