Pros

Just about any issue you would have, Amazon is very accommodating. The job it’s self can be a little crazy sometimes especially during peak. but from what I’ve heard it’s a cakewalk compared to others. On holidays you get time and a half plus an extra 8 hours free pay depending on what site you work (others could be only 3 hours, but free money!!) you get 40 hrs PTO and 40 hrs vacation a year, and accumulate unlimited UPT. And you can use them whenever you like with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. You get a pay raise every 3-6 months. They have Voluntary time off so you can sign up and possibly get to go home early if you want to. You get $110 for work shoes and insoles before you start.

Cons

The environment is very passive aggressive and there is favoritism among leadership. With this I tend to keep to myself but that causes leadership to try and take advantage of me. If you end up getting hurt it takes a while to actually get accommodations. you can’t just go to the doc and show up with a note like any other job. the process is overly complicated and if the injury slows you down, you risk write ups and could end up getting fired within 3 weeks. That’s why they tell you to report it asap. The entire place is basically ran by a computer system. A computer that will not care what any of your excuses are even if they are very valid.
