Pros

The friendly, fast paced environment. This job is amazing because it keeps you on your feet all day and you are always wanting to do more.

Cons

Scheduling, you can get stuck with overnights very easily with this job and you are told the days you need to work.

Pros

Amazon is one of the few companies which, in addition to developing effective production metrics and encouraging continuous process innovation, has created a way of quantifying associate engagement and satisfaction with their Area Manager. Amazon values the happiness of its workers and is committed to the values of servant leadership.

Cons

Depending on how well an associate's physical and intellectual abilities match with their job placement upon hiring, their daily experience of working at Amazon can be wildly disparate with other entry-level associates. It can be difficult to cultivate the best performance from associates who may be stagnant in or ill-equipped to perform their given function when cross-training is what they want and need but is not available at the time.
