Pros

Amazon provides great benefits and compensation. They reward those who stay in the company longer with better benefits. At the warehouse, the standards are reasonable. Lower management is supportive of associates and seek to nurture their growth.

Cons

At various warehouses, senior management is not supportive and are often at ends with the associates and lower management. HR lacks communication and support. Growth is generally stifled by upper management.

Pros

They offer benefits & also match your 401K

Cons

Low paid time off & Unpaid time off, You barely get any vacation time though out the year. The monthly VCP incentive is a joke since it depends on the facilities productivity which means you will never get it only during the last months at peak when their working people like slaves just to get a bonus for metric numbers. The management will only talk you when writing you up or trying to fire you. HR & the safety team does very little when you really need their help. If you are injured at work they treat you like a piece of trash because they can not work you like a slave while injured. As a lead within the company i would hear SR operations openly talk down on associates from looks down to trying to get them fired with their management team inside the cube land office. The company has a high turn over rate because they will fire you before doing the proper research for any write up. They do not like anyone who out spoken on issues that need to be addressed so don't do it or you will be on the secret hurry up & fire them list. Management only does what they need to do and thats yelling over the radio while sitting at a desk when they could be supporting their team more reaching the company goal actively inside the mods with their team.
