Pros

Benefits, paid parental leave, career choice prepaid tuition, 401K with company match, health/life insurance to name a few. Supports work-life balance. Offers more freedom to take different types of LOA when needed. Great opportunities to volunteer and help local communities. I would state good pay for PA positions inside facility and outside on the ramp. However, while the Ramp PA salary is “good” it isn’t adequate for all the annual continuous education, recertifications, responsibilities and hazardous conditions that they work in.

Cons

Difficult to move to L4 and up positions due to Amazons contract to accept a certain amount of college grads per year. KLAL associates call it the PA Rabbit Hole. As a PA you will be training college grads how to do your job as well as the associates jobs and the proceeds path. The turn over for college grads is on the higher end so you may be doing this twice a year. It would benefit the company as a whole to promote the more qualified PAs to AM positions.
