Pros

Worked with incredible people, had limitless opportunities to transfer into other lines of business.

Cons

As of the fall of 2022, after Andy Jassy took over for Jeff, the culture tanked. Good leaders were micromanaged to the point that they became hollow shells of their former selves. Top performers were forced to toe the line or be forced out. Employees who were previously rated as high performers were ambushed by negative feedback suddenly in an effort to secure their resignation to free up headcount on the team to be used elsewhere. The RTO mandate was just layoffs in disguise.
