Pros

Amazon definitely has many smart people. The on-boarding training is good as are the leadership principles. However there are so many new people the culture is all over the place.

Cons

Overworked - most work on weekends, have little vacation time, are overworked. Its a culture where you wont make lasting friendships or love or be loyal the company. Benefits are not as good as other tech companies or consulting. Sales team is not diverse.

Pros

Love the culture here, great people and the leadership principles set out a clear direction for everyone.

Cons

Some of the back office support services seem under-resourced.

Pros

An incredible onboarding and ramp up experience that focused on teaching me how to work and how to be successful, as opposed to just what to do. I feel more efficient and productive, and really motivated to live the leadership principles.

Cons

It's a complex web of stakeholders and learning how to navigate this, while staying focused on your own goals and priorities is critical to staying afloat in the early months, and being set up for success from there on.
