Pros

You will get good name recognition on your resume. There is no shortage of budgets or work. Most of your projects will have high impact. You will learn how to build planet-scale application

Cons

The workload can be brutal for a TPM. Expect to put-in 60-80 hours a week and forget about work-life balance. Also, as a TPM you are in support role. The SDM calls the shots for the project execution.
