Pros

The Amazon hiring process is exceptionally well-managed and straightforward. Expectations are clearly defined, and the recruiting team is very helpful in providing candidates with suggestions and materials for how to prepare for interviews.

Cons

The hiring process did include a significant time commitment for multiple interviews and assessments. I can understand why many people would view this as a significant downside, especially if the process did not result in an offer letter.

Pros

1) Strong Principles focussed and driven organization. Never ever in my past organization where the organization principles were considered so serious and walk the talk method applied 2) Highly organised and structured processed available 3) Highly Employee friendly policies and huge importance given to employee care and family 4) Never say die attitude among all employees. Huge ownership and accountability driven model of work. Everyone has sense of awareness on the programs they work 5) Above par compensation benefits 6) Management focus is high on employees comfort, ease of working, satisfaction. Always approachable management team.

Cons

1) While all the trainings and onboarding sessions happened through mandatory training schedules, it would be really a great employee experience for first time joiners if there is a virtual (during covid) or in person onboarding session done for 1-2 days. It really gives a great feeling of belongingness to the company and will be nice feeling. This happens in even large organisations too. Not sure why this is not being considered
