Pros

Great compensation, benefits and professional growth guaranteed. Very different way of working but the learning possibilities, mobility and smart-people environment are fabulous.

Cons

If you enjoy building software in startups, keep in mind that the role at Amazon is quite different. You might be very far from developers and designers, and the wait to see something in production might be frustrating. At Amazon the PM roles equals problem solving and will mean something different at every area. Be prepared to write your own SQL to pull your data and support every decision and to learn to write docs to present your ideas.
