Pros

You may find pockets of great people amongst the hordes of corporate drones.

Cons

Leadership is inefficient and unprofessional. Compensation is okay, but you can find better pay with more interesting work at just about any large company. For the same pay, you can go work at an organization that does not constantly seek to drown you in useless bureaucracy. You may find pockets of great people amongst the hordes of corporate drones, but you will also find people who actively seek to sabotage your efforts. This has bred a culture of unhelpful people who are only focused on maintaining their position in the org. I would only recommend working at Amazon are content to keep your head down while spending 60% of your time writing reports and the rest of your time pretending to do something useful.
