Pros

Team dynamics are great as everyone has a genuine interest in your success. Flexible work hours and locations. You really do work with the best of the best and have specific guidance on your role within the team. Fantastic benefits as well!

Cons

Amazon is huge! It can be overwhelming if you don't pace yourself and ask for help.

Pros

Onbarding process with AWS is very structured than my previous employer. AWS actually has a tool called Embark that walks you through various training modules to help you learn the culture, processes and etc. It gives you a good start to start learning about the company and job role.

Cons

Embark could further improve in the area of focusing on your specific job role. There should be more modules teaching a new hire about required skills to learn, capacity training and infrastructure data center knowledge.
